1. INTRODUCTION
AYKA Clyvora Private Limited ("Company", "AYKA", "We", "Us", "Our") operates the websites www.aykaexpert.in, www.aykacare.in, and www.aykaalliance.in (collectively, the "Websites"), as well as associated mobile applications and digital platforms (together, the "Platforms").
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies are, how we use them on our Platforms, what choices you have regarding their use, and how you can manage your preferences. This Policy is to be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides further information on how we collect and process your Personal Data.
By continuing to use our Platforms, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this Policy, subject to your right to manage preferences as set out in Section 6.
2. WHAT ARE COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES?
2.1 Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website operators about how their site is being used. Cookies are not programs and cannot carry viruses or install malware on your device.
2.2 Similar Technologies
In addition to cookies, we may use the following similar tracking technologies on our Platforms:
- Web Beacons (Pixel Tags): Tiny invisible images embedded in web pages or emails that allow us to track whether a page has been viewed or an email has been opened. We use web beacons in connection with the Meta Pixel and Google Ads tracking.
- Local Storage: A browser-based mechanism that allows websites to store data locally on your device, used for session management and user preferences that persist between visits.
- Session Storage: Similar to local storage but data is cleared when the browser session ends; used for temporary in-session data such as consultation booking progress.
- Fingerprinting: We do not use browser fingerprinting or device fingerprinting for tracking purposes.
2.3 First-Party vs Third-Party Cookies
Cookies may be set by us ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services operating on our Platforms ("third-party cookies"). First-party cookies are set by AYKA Clyvora Private Limited and are used to operate and improve our Platforms. Third-party cookies are set by our service providers — including Meta, Google, and our payment gateway — and are governed by their respective privacy and cookie policies.
3. CATEGORIES OF COOKIES WE USE
We use four categories of cookies on our Platforms. The category determines whether your consent is required and how you can manage the cookie.
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies enable core functionality such as:
- User authentication and secure login session management;
- Maintaining your session as you navigate between pages;
- Security features including CSRF protection and fraud prevention;
- Load balancing to ensure Platform stability;
- Remembering items in your consultation booking cart or appointment queue; and
- Ensuring compliance with applicable legal and security requirements.
Without these cookies, our Platforms cannot function properly and core services cannot be provided. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies through our consent manager; however, you may disable them through your browser settings, which will significantly impair your ability to use our Platforms.
3.2 Functional / Preference Cookies
These cookies enhance your experience by remembering choices you make. They require your consent.
Functional cookies allow us to remember information that changes the way our Platforms behave or look, including:
- Your language and regional preferences;
- Your login credentials (if you select "Remember Me");
- Your preferred consultation type or doctor specialty;
- Display preferences such as font size or interface layout; and
- Notifications you have dismissed or actions you have already completed.
If you disable functional cookies, some features of the Platform may not work as expected and you may need to re-enter preferences each time you visit.
3.3 Analytics and Performance Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use our Platforms. They collect anonymised data and require your consent.
Analytics cookies collect information about how users interact with our Platforms, including:
- Which pages are visited most frequently;
- How long users spend on each page;
- Where users come from (referral source);
- Which features are most used; and
- Error messages encountered by users.
All analytics data is aggregated and anonymised where possible. We use Google Analytics 4 for this purpose. The data helps us improve the performance, usability, and content of our Platforms. We have enabled IP anonymisation on Google Analytics and have executed a Data Processing Agreement with Google.
3.4 Marketing and Targeting Cookies
These cookies track your activity across websites to deliver targeted advertising. They require your explicit consent and can be declined without affecting Platform functionality.
Marketing cookies are used to:
- Measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads;
- Deliver relevant advertisements to you on Meta and Google platforms based on your interactions with our Platforms;
- Build custom audiences for retargeting campaigns (e.g., users who visited the doctor registration page);
- Prevent the same advertisement from being shown to you too frequently (frequency capping); and
- Track conversions — i.e., whether you completed a registration or booking after clicking an advertisement.
These cookies are set by Meta (via Meta Pixel) and Google (via Google Ads conversion tracking and Google Tag Manager). Their use is governed by Meta's and Google's respective privacy policies and cookie policies, in addition to this Policy.
4. COOKIE INVENTORY TABLE
The following table lists the specific cookies currently in use on our Platforms. This table is updated periodically to reflect changes to our tracking setup.
4.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
4.2 Functional / Preference Cookies

4.4 Marketing and Targeting Cookies
Note: Cookie names and durations may vary slightly based on Platform updates or third-party provider changes. This table is reviewed and updated at least every six (6) months. Last reviewed: 8 May 2026.
5. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES AND THEIR PRIVACY POLICIES
The following third-party providers set cookies on our Platforms. Each provider's use of cookies is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review:
5.1 Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel)
Meta Pixel is a piece of JavaScript code that allows us to measure, optimise, and build audiences for our advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. Meta cookies enable us to understand actions people take on our Platform after seeing our ads.
Meta Privacy Policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
Meta Cookie Policy: https://www.facebook.com/policies/cookies/
Meta Ad Preferences (Opt-Out): https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/
5.2 Google LLC (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads)

Google Analytics Opt-Out: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

We have executed Data Processing Agreements with both Meta and Google as required under applicable data protection law. Personal Data transferred to these providers may be processed outside India; please refer to their respective privacy policies for information on their data transfer safeguards.
6. MANAGING YOUR COOKIE PREFERENCES
6.1 Cookie Consent Banner
When you first visit any of our Platforms, a cookie consent banner will be displayed. You may accept all cookies, accept only strictly necessary cookies, or customise your preferences by category. Your choices will be stored in the consent_status cookie for twelve (12) months.
You may update your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" or "Manage Cookies" link in the footer of any of our websites. This will re-open the consent manager and allow you to change your selections.
6.2 Browser Settings
All modern web browsers allow you to control cookies through browser settings. You can typically:
- View and delete individual cookies stored on your device;
- Block all cookies (note: this will significantly impair Platform functionality);
- Block third-party cookies while allowing first-party cookies;
- Set your browser to alert you when a cookie is being placed; and
- Enable "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals (see Section 7).

6.3 Opting Out of Specific Third-Party Tracking
You may opt out of specific third-party tracking through the following mechanisms, independent of our cookie consent banner:
- Meta Ad Tracking: Visit https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/ and manage your ad settings. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance at https://youradchoices.com/
- Google Analytics: Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Google Ads Personalisation: Visit https://adssettings.google.com/ to manage or opt out of personalised Google Ads.
6.4 Mobile Devices
On mobile devices, you may limit ad tracking through your device settings:
- iOS (Apple): Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → toggle off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalisation"
7. DO NOT TRACK (DNT) SIGNALS
Some web browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals to websites. Currently, there is no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. Our Platforms do not alter their data collection and use practices in response to DNT signals from browsers.
However, you may use the methods described in Section 6 to manage your cookie preferences and opt out of specific tracking technologies. We will continue to monitor developments in the DNT standard and update our practices accordingly.
8. IMPACT OF DISABLING COOKIES
The following table summarises the impact of disabling each category of cookies:
9. DATA PROTECTION AND LEGAL BASIS FOR COOKIE USE
9.1 Our use of cookies that involve the processing of Personal Data is governed by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the Information Technology Act, 2000 ("IT Act"), in addition to this Cookie Policy and our Privacy Policy.
9.2 Strictly Necessary Cookies: Processed on the basis of legitimate interest under Section 7 of the DPDP Act — specifically, the operation of a secure and functional digital platform. No separate consent is required.
9.3 Functional, Analytics, and Marketing Cookies: Processed on the basis of your consent under Section 6 of the DPDP Act, obtained through our cookie consent banner. You may withdraw consent at any time through the cookie preference manager in the website footer.
9.4 Personal Data processed through third-party cookies (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Ads) may be transferred to servers operated by Meta and Google, which may be located outside India. Such transfers are subject to the data transfer provisions of the DPDP Act and the third parties' own data transfer safeguards. We have executed Data Processing Agreements with these providers requiring them to maintain appropriate data protection standards.
9.5 For further information on how Personal Data collected through cookies is processed, stored, and protected, please refer to our Privacy Policy available at all AYKA Platform websites.
10. UPDATES TO THIS COOKIE POLICY
10.1 We review and update this Cookie Policy at least every six (6) months, or whenever we add or remove cookies or change our tracking practices in a material way.
10.2 When we make material changes to this Policy — such as adding a new category of cookies or a new third-party provider — we will display a prominent notice on our Platforms and, where you have provided an email address, notify you by email at least thirty (30) days before the change takes effect.
10.3 If you continue to use our Platforms after such changes take effect, your continued use will constitute acceptance of the updated Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you may withdraw consent through the cookie preference manager or your browser settings.
10.4 The version history of this Cookie Policy is maintained below for reference.
